Yuki Cross attends the prestigious Cross Academy as a student of the Day Class and member of the guardians. As a guardian she protects the school's biggest secret - the fact the the beautiful student on the Night Class are vampires! Yuki was rescued as a small child by Kaname Kuran, a member of the Night Class, and shares the hopes of her father that someday vampires and humans will form a permanent truce. Her Day Class partner Zero Kiryu however has other ideas.
