Hello, everyone. Sorry to take you away from the wonder
that is Anime Cubed for even a moment, but if you would like to glean insight
into the person who made The Cube what it is today, you'll have no better
chance than right now. Pardon me while I gush.

Personal Data:
I'm the former president of a large anime club. I'm that mish-mash that all comes together and
makes you check 'Caucasian' on the tax forms. Before Anime Cubed, I ran a little
wallpaper site, which taught me the HTML needed
to put together a large site like this one. I DJ anime music nights in a
local club once every two or three months or so, which is lots of fun.
Why Anime?
I became an anime fan after
watching the timeless Ranma 1/2 years and years ago, and never looked back.
The continuing plots, the character development, and the underlying morality
plays has kept me enraptured with anime since the day I walked into college.
I am a shoujo fan, as I don't think guys get nearly enough emotional
entertainment in America, and anime (and manga, to be specific), has filled
that void in me. I've cried over Fushigi Yuugi, cheered at Kareshi Kanojo no
Jijou, and screamed like a madman at the evil plots of Utena's Sutdent Council.
I am, no surprise, an avid roleplaying game fan, although I'm more for the
games that emphasize story and drama over huge amounts of dice poured onto a
table and the newest 'give my character special toys' expansion book.
Why The Cube?
The emotions I've seen in anime - characters' hopes, feelings, and dreams - are
not just a part of me, but of everyone I've ever met, everyone who's ever taken a look at
my work and smiled, everyone who's affected my life in any way. The emotions
experienced through anime aren't just specific to them, but are felt by all
of humanity. Art is, to me, a chance to express the infinite
in ways words never can, Japanese or English. Anime Cubed is my way of saying
'thank you' to the anime community as a whole - to give back to them in a
comprehensive, professional way what they've given me for years.
Want to know more about the characters? All will be revealed as
their bios start appearing under the 'Meet the Crew' section - keep a keen eye, and
you'll be able to find out the histories, stories, and loves of the animated faces
that grace The Cube! Stay tuned!
